Guest Pagemakers Posted October 4, 2005 Report Share Posted October 4, 2005 I followed the upgrade instructions to the letter. However my upgrade failed in stage 1 - upgrading radio. It said soft-reset the Jas and try again. Well I did that and the upgrade will not continue because active sync does not connect to the device anymore. If I soft reset the Jas, the screen is very dark and says Serial V0.6.0 Hard resetting does not work either. Contacted Expansys and they said it is out of their 21 day warranty (it's 24 days old). Guest Pondrew Posted October 4, 2005 Report Share Posted October 4, 2005 Yep, rebooting the pc and device (even though a reset will still leave it on the bootloader screen you describe) is usually all that's required to restart an update.
