I have so many problems synchronising Napster protected tracks with my C500. I have WMP10 on my PC and the latest ROM on my C500, but when I synchronise tracks it keeps locking up the phone and sometimes WMP10 on my PC after a few tracks. It all works fine if I transfer 1 track at a time, but that's pretty frustrating when you want to fill a 512mb card! Any advice?!?! Cheers.
Guest adchaffey Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 harrysaab, try following these steps: 1. Copy all of the tracks from an album into a folder on your sd card. 2. Call this folder whatever you want (E.G. 'Album 1') 3. Find an image that you want to appear for the album art, but make sure it is less than about 1mb. 4. Name this image folder.jpg (not 'Album 1.jpg' or anything else, just folder.jpg) 5. Then copy this image into the same folder as all of the tracks for this album. And there you have it! I'd like to thank bluesxman and roma0803. Without your comments, this walkthrough would not have been possible. ;) :D :D

Guest roma0803 Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 (edited) no body mentiond it about renaming it from DOS mode. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Since this is completely unnecessary under normal circumstances, that's why nobody mentioned it. It's strange you have to rename under DOS. But hey, it worked for you.... Edited November 6, 2005 by roma0803
Guest bluesxman Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 no body mentiond it about renaming it from DOS mode.Well looking at your screenshot I reckon you have "hide extensions for known file types" set in windows explorer and what you thought was folder.jpg was folder.jpg.jpg or similar. Anyway, glad you got it working.
