If like me you want GPRS to stay permanently connected, even after pressing the red end key or after inbox has done a send and receive:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections\(GPRS connection name)\AlwaysOn

Just change it from 0 to 1.

Does this force the Uni to stay on GPRS or will it still use UMTS where possible?

Sorry to appear a little dense, but I can't find the registry to be able to edit it. Any directions would be gratefully received :)

Download Total Commander CE (freeware), load it up, head to the root directory and then tap on "\\" then on "registry".
