Guest ChrisSpera Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Bretto, I'm running PPCProfiles-Pro 3.0a_1.02 on an imate PDA2k. My PDA Phones with an MS BlueTooth Stack made some BT options appear in the upper right corner of the Car Profile. This doesn't happen in my PDA2k, with a Broadcomm BT stack. Is this a limitation of the program, or is something else wrong? Thanks for the help!!
Guest bretto Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Hi Chris Its a limitation of PPCProfiles. Only supports the MS stack due to costs involved in getting the broadcom sdk. If you know of anyone who is willing to create a simple dll to control the broadcom stack please let me know and we can incorporate it.

Have you considered switching to a shareware modle to help cover the costs? I like the way this works so much, I'd be willing to pay for a license to PPCProfiles Pro. I wont charge for PPCProfiles as I believe this functionality should be freely available to everyone who owns a PPC. To really confirm that message Ive just released the source code for the latest release so that others might be able to tidy up the code and enhance it for everyone if Im too busy to get to it. Now there is no reason that this app should ever die. ;)
