Guest smeg36
The Windows folder resets itself after every power cycle. Place the file somewhere else on the phone, and it will be fine. Any files you place in the Windows directory will be erased, and any files you delete from it will be restored when you power cycle.
Guest Disco Stu
The best location is \IPSM \Application Data \Sounds ;)
Guest toomuchdogfur
just as a further clarification ;) anything NOT placed within either the IPSM folder or the Storage Card folder is actually being placed into the volatile system RAM (memory that blanks when the power goes out), which is used much like the RAM on your PC. As long as it is in your IPSM folder or Storage Card folder it will stay there! (Unless you hard reset, obviously) ringtones can also be placed in Storage Card\My Documents if you're like me who keeps loud, fancy .wav ringtones that eat space in terabytes :D
