Guest Rob.P Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Thanks for that Peppermint Hippo, I have just ordered one, looks like your dash is about the same depth as mine (VW Bora).
Guest minty1978 Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 mine's in my MINI now, tested over christmas (trip to cornwall). pics to follow ;)
Guest Rob.P Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 Mine's the same as Peppermint Rhino's and it works a treat, rock solid sucion cup and the bendable arm is v.rigid. A good buy ;)

Looking good in my car now, nice and steady. Worth the money! Next on the shopping list....Tom Tom!
Guest bsterngillet Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Thought i'd show you how mine is set up as i'm not sure it was described greatly! I was using this: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/4303.htm Overall for the price, i can't complain ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Peppermint Hippo, How have you got your Holux 236 attached to the dash? Cheers.
Guest bsterngillet Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Anyone using something like this? http://www.pdamods.com/proddetail.asp?prod=A15DLMNSYS Looks good - double suction.
Guest Peppermint Hippo Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Hi Peppermint Hippo, How have you got your Holux 236 attached to the dash? Cheers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi there. The windscreen mount i got came with a circular plastic disc with double sided sticky tape on. Its in case you wish to attach your holder without sticking it to the window. You stick the disc on a surface and then apply the suction pad into it. It just so happens that its the perfect size to hold my Holux 236 ;)

Just about to order that holder you got - do the side grips not interfere with Wizard/Vario buttons? Cheers.
Guest Rob.P Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 About the only thing they cover up is the infra-red port, not like your gonna use that in the car anyway. I can still easily hit my voice button on the side which activates MS Voice Command, v.handy for the car.

Also, i've not had a problem with it interfering with the side buttons at all.
