XDA Exec / Voda 3G et al

Getting my 2nd exec early next week (don't ask about #1 :D) and am trying to prepare for setting it up.

I'm hoping they're still shipping unlocked, looking to use my Vodafone 3G card sim instead (on th 1gb tarrif :D) but does anyone know where I should look for settings? On my X15 the card is, just dialling *99***1# - what else do I need? If it's the init strings - "AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet";" where, if at all can they be set?

I'll be using the corporate options (0506) to strip out all the O2 active gack btw, anything else anyone can suggest? ;)
