Questions on Connections

Hello.

Ok, I guess this will be the same on all WM5 devices but I posted it in here as this is the PPc I'm using.

I have a wireless network. This wireless network is my work conenction. I connect to the internet through it via a proxy server.

My problem is that I can't connect to local (not internet) stuff when I have my proxy server put in the connections dialogue.

By the way, what's the difference between the "work" and "the internet" *zones* that it asks you to choose when joining a wireless network?

I want to be able to connect to my wireless network and use local things (such as terminal services) as well as msn messenger and internet explorer all at the same time.

Is there any way of doing this?
