got my m5000 yesterday a few questions please

Hi people

I got my Free M5000 yesterday and must admit since the original SPV I owned things have improved ten-fold.

does anyone know when and how I can sync it up with mac osx missing sync and pocket mac dont yet support win mob 5.

how do i get the thing to completely turn off shutdown?

how do i get the keyboard to light up.

thats it for now I think.

As far as i'm aware you can't turn off PDA's.... I know this runs Windows Mobile 5 so has permenant storage so its not such a problem, but whenever you press the power button the device just goes to sleep. You can put it into flight mode which turns off all the radio links.

As for the keyboard light i was under the impression it works with the light sensor at the back of the keyboard. When its dark enough the keyboard light comes on.

My thoughts exactly.. Anyone know if Virtual PC 7 might work?? or any script / plug-in for iSync maybe??

I have Guest PC on my Mac but dont really use it because its painfully slow. I will try it at the weekend though and let you know.

For now though I dont see a nice tidy way to sync with the mac... not until Missing Sync get updates for WM5 devices.
