Guest DeanoSMB Posted November 4, 2005 Report Share Posted November 4, 2005 Not got my Vario yet but yet another Orange customer off to T-Mobile the minute I can... for the last 12 months I was dreaming of a Universal but having seen them they're just too big for my liking - plus the Vario offers 802.11g as opposed to 802.11b on the Universal. Does it make a great difference? Anyone care to tell me wondrous tales of how they've got video streaming in Starbucks and have amazed their friends / confounded their enemies...? Guest MitchellO Posted November 5, 2005 Report Share Posted November 5, 2005 Well 802.11g won't help you if you want to stream video over the net and receive it at Starbucks, as they won't have a 54Mbit net connection ;) However, I have found the WiFi to be very fast. I can transfer a 6Mb MP3 to the K-JAM miniSD card in about 12 seconds. I am not complaining!! Heaps faster than my Mini + SD WiFi. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
