Taking calls when its dark...

I tend to carry my M5000 closed, to protect the screen. When I receive an incoming call in the dark - e.g. walking down the pitch-black country lane where I live - the call buttons do not light up. Consequently, without opening up the whole thing and getting it into PDA format, its often impossible to take the call. Too easy to drop the call by lightly touching the "end call" button. Are the Universals on the other networks like this, or do their call buttons illuminate?!

p.s. Now just had a freeze and had to reset. Now some odd things have occured, e.g. the wallpaper I was using has now transferred itself to the menus, whilst the desktop has changed to windows standard. Now I can't change either.. :shock:
