Guest wicked8
I'm planning to get the C550. Does anyone know if the C550 traps dust as it does for the C500 :??: Thanks in advance!!
Guest w411y
If you make a quick search on this forum theres been quite a lot of discussion on this. People started reporting dust under the screen (me being 1). Some sent it to HTC who removed the dust and sealed the screen down so no more dust would enter. Others like me removed the fascia itself and removed the dust themselves. However I'm not positive on this but i believe the devices they seel thesedays initially come with the new type of seal so that dust does not enter. As I said just make a search and have a nice read ;)
Guest PPCPassion
I'm planning to get the C550. Does anyone know if the C550 traps dust as it does for the C500 :??: Thanks in advance!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I got C550 approx 2.5 months ago and have been using it without any case-no dust so far. I did install Martin Field's screen protector. Prior to this phone, I had Audiovox SMT5600 (same as C500) and I did get dust under the screen. Hope this helps. Guest davejerome
I got the C550 when it very very very first came out. I have no dust at all. Unlike my C500 which used to have a beach inside it.
Guest Pug
I only had one speck which I removed by dropping the phone in a bucket of water (by accident). Mind you, I never put my phone in a pocket as I've found this is the cause of past phones getting dust under the screen. Nowadays I attach the phone in a case to my belt.
