SP5 : Active sync probs and Animated Homescreens.

I'm a proud owner since 3 weeks of a SP5. Still fascinated of it.

But there is one general problem that I have with.

W

hen I want to synchronise my outlook data with my mobile it does not recognize the device. (Althoug it recognizes the device but stays in connecting modus) Explore button does not show on.

When I enter the software from i-mate and i try to repair active sync. it works. but only when disk is insereted in my pc. Any ideas why it does not connect without disk anyone?

Further I read in some threads on modaco that animated homescreens only work with an installation of madbeetle. they say it only works within windows 2003.

Do you know if this plugin works as well on windows 5?
