Guest shadamehr Posted November 15, 2005 Report Share Posted November 15, 2005 That's because it is using the inbuilt Operating System facility of disaplying Caller Id's and this is the size it limits them to. It's only since WM5.0 that this has been inbuilt. Unfortunately, it is a backward step from the previous system where it was not inbuilt, but nevertheless came pre-installed as IA Style's (then later HTC's) Photo Caller Display Application that let you have various sizes, templates, animated gif's the whole lot. So the inbuilt feature is good, but the limitations it now presents are poor. PhotoContacts from PocketX is meant to be coming soon for WM5.0 but until some decent thirds party apps arrive there is nothing you can do... Guest mofo Posted November 16, 2005 Report Share Posted November 16, 2005 One questions on this topic. I had Qtek 8080 and on incoming call it showed name of the contact in rather large font. I did not use photo contacts. On my new Qtek 8310 on incoming call name is shown in very small font. Can it be changed or I have to live with this?
