The thing I still struggle with on my M500 is one-handed phone/messaging, so I am interested I find that it takes time to get used to them so a comparative evaluation of several is very hard to do, and the process of trying a new one makes it even harder to use the phone. Maybe I'm giving up too easy. I've opted for a hardware button shortcut to PhonePad for now, and my podgy thumb can just about manage that.
