Problem with homescreen background

Hay guys....and galls...

I'm asking this question here because I tried the gathering.tweakers.net forum, but didn,t get a reply...

Maybe here...

I have the following two problems with my Orange m3000.

I use the Orange homescreen with the bar on the left side....(same as on my previous c500).

I changed the background to a picture of my car(a super Trabant p601s).

After a soft reset, the background however is changed back to the default Orange background....

I tried to look for the Orange background(thought if I just rename my own picture to the Orange picture name....)but couldn't locate it....

Has anyone got any idea?

The second problem is the already discussed Alarm problem...

My alarm won't go off(even the Wizard one in Time settings) when the phone is in standby mode....

Any solution to that problem, or a program which will wake the wizard and me up?

Or a registry tweak????

Anyone????

Thanks for your suggestions.....

Guest coaster

here a workaround:

First convert your wallpaper to GIF, then rename your converted picture

to "Default_stwater.gif".

Be sure in the homescreen-settings the "another background" is checked and

copy the "Default_stwater.gif" to the windows directory of your mobile.

Uncheck the "another background" in the homescreen-settings and voilĂ  !
