Sync'ing issue with Exchange

Need some advice on how to troubleshoot an ActiveSync issue. I have my Wizard setup to sync with my Exchange server over GPRS for email and my PC via USB for Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Task items.

The sync over GPRS for email works fine. The problem lies when I hook up my wizard via the USB cable. In ActiveSync it shows the two configurations: Exchange Server and my PC connection. Once connected, it starts the synchronization of the Exchange Server, but it never completes. It just says Synchronizing on the main status and Synchronizing Folders on the Exchange Server line item.

Any ideas on how to figure out what's going on to cause the deadlock?
