Hey just called orange, told them that it was really stupid what was going on and how they should have done this deal a few weeks ago instead of a few days before christmas where deliverys wont even get there in time. But the final answer is that u have to return the phone guys grrrr

Chances are they thought the phone would sell much better in the Christmas peak season than it did, so it's a last minute panic measure to get rid of the excess stock. No doubt somebodys bonus depends on shifting enough units before the year end.

Let's face it, it's just not trendy enough for PAYG kiddies, and most people who know what the SPV does will be hanging out for one with WM5, particularly as QVGA WM2003SE software development will dry up soon as WM5 devices become the standard.
