Guest Pulse Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 I did a Corp install on my XDA Exec, and now it wont let me go on the internet via GPRS... I go into the settings, but I have NO idea what to put in there! I've looked on the web, but nothing has helped! Can anyone help?

I used to be on O2 monthly and used: APN (access point) mobile.o2.co.uk User: mobileweb Password: password If you're sending email then you may need to use their smtp (outgoing email) server at smtp.o2.co.uk ...and that ought to be all you need.

All the other info i found on the net suggested web.o2.co.uk and o2web/password as the details... but the ones you gave work perfectly :) Thanks

Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Under My ISP tap Manage Existing Connections and then Tap Edit (if this isn't present then tap 'Add a new modem connection') The Select a Modem drop-down box should be set to Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G) Tap Next Access Point Name: mobile.o2.co.uk Tap Next Username:o2web Password: password Domain: leave blank Tap Advanced On the TCP/IP tab, only Use Server-assigned IP Address should be selected Tap the Servers tab Use Specific Server Addresses should be selected DNS: 193.113.200.200 Alt DNS: 193.113.200.201 Tap OK Tap Finish How do I manually check/setup the GPRS WAP settings?
