Guest benzo Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Is it just me, or is the nipple simply not meant to be controlled with the thumb ? :?: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You dirty boy!
Guest ksts Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 I have managed to dial an emergency number twice by mistake now. This never happened with my C500. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I found a call to the emergency number as well which I never made!!! (and I am sure the keys didn't get pressed by mistake because I didn't even had the phone in my pocket, it was left on my desk) Could that be some kind of bug? -if it is, it would be pretty serious, emergency services getting calls from faulty mobiles!
Guest Rhinestone Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 (edited) I found a call to the emergency number as well which I never made!!! It was in my Krussell Horizontal pouch at the time. The C500 I had previously was always unlocking when I sat in the car with the pouch on. The unlock keys kept getting pressed in the right order. The C600 doesnt do this now as the unlock key has been moved from the hash to the asterisk. I was surprised to have that emergency number dialed. Dont recall it unlocking at all. When I first got the phone I thought it was rubbish but having made the menu change to list view and put the old C500 Album on it, its not too bad. Loads more memory to run things. I quite like it now. I wouldnt say its a giant leap forward from the C500 but there are gains to be had where it counts. I feel pretty sure I can live with it for 12 months or so and see if anything better is available then. Edited February 25, 2006 by Rhinestone
Guest greenwood Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 I had all problems mentioned here plus one more. Did you notice C600 has less bass than C500 when using phone as a MP3 player? This was a big let down for me :?: I sold the phone and returned to C500.
Guest JohnMcL7 Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 My main complaint about the C600 is the lack of wi-fi, other than that I'm quite pleased with it. I wasn't a big fan of the C500 though, hated the rocker in particular - the C600 has a much better screen, I find the joystick better and in general it feels as if it uses better plastics. John
Guest Suizid Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Just FYI: you don't need to unlock a mobile to ring an emergency number. Try locking your keys, and typing "999". This works on pretty much all handsets too - every Nokia i've had has done it.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Also when I type quickly it just can't keep up and does random things - for example "chinese" comes out as "chime3" !!! Seriously thinking about sending it back. Incedentally that has happened on my C500, C550 and C600...
Guest cerij Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Incedentally that has happened on my C500, C550 and C600... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never had the problem on my C500. The C600 just doesn't seem able to keep up with my keypresses.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Its mildy annoying but not enough of a problem to make texting impossible in my case.
