I have a C550 and I want to know If you guys have this problem,

Part 1 (the problem)

Open wmp on your phone and play a file

send you self a txt, then read it

then go back to wmp and play the file again

now is the voume of this song quiet

and if you plug your headphones in does it come out speaker and headphone

I have this problem and its very annoying

Part 2 (the temporary solution)

Call you mobile on a different phone

let it ring

hangup

go back to wmp play the file

Does the sound go back to normal.

Ive have a feeling this is a firmware issue so please post what firmware you are using (settings about)

I've had this problem... but while playing files... do you have your text/calender alert sounds set to silent? If you have, set them back to a sound and it should solve the problem...

what firmware are you using and where is this option found

I have the exact same firmware as you have (above).

Goto settings, sounds, and then set Reminders, New email, New Sms message, new voice message etc... to any sound rather than none or vibrate - such as Orange_Remind.

With my phone if I select 'none' my music will go very quiet for around 10 minutes, or until I recieve a call/or restart my phone.
