Guest madyorky Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 (edited) Hi, This might be in the wrong area but I hope I get an answer. ;) So far I like my first dabble with the smart phone software... I have got an Orange SPV 550 and installed activesync 3.8 and managed to sync my contact to my outlook no problem, it recognised any changes and adjusted accordingly. I also go Windows media player sync option working first time.. My PC crashed yesterday needing a total O/S reinstall ( XP Pro SP2 ). I reinstalled activesync and office XP ( same as before ) but I cannot get the phone to resend its contacts... it thinks it has synchronised and is OK. I have tried changing the computer name .. Is there a way to reset this or an app that will do it... Yours rather befuddled Madyorky Follow up.. I eventually contacted orange and it seems like the contacts database had got damaged and so was advised after going through to level 3 support to do a hard reset which fixed the problem..
