Other folders not synching

Folders in my mailbox other than my inbox (i.e., Sent Items, but also other folders i've created) are not syncing. I've set them to sync, and everything else about sync seems to be working fine, but there are no messages in these folders on my phone (i-mate SP5) even though there are plenty in the relevant Exchange inbox. Also, there are only about ten messages in my inbox -- the older ones aren't synching. any ideas anyone?

Ah, sorry, forget it -- just found the answer! (Right after I posted... funny how that always happens. It's because the settings are distributed in all sorts of places; in this particular case the setting needed is in ActiveSync itself rather than in the Messaging folders, and it's about how far back (in time) your e-mails should sync.
