Help! Phone not booting - what do I do?

I tried to downgrade to WM2003se using the tutorial telling me to just write the image on an SD card and then boot from it and write it. Well I have done so... only right after it said "success!" it just always goes to the tri-color boot screen and does not boot up the OS. I am on SPL 2.05.0040 and have NO idea how to downgrade nor what the heck to do. I cant put WM2005 back on it, can't do anything whatsoever!

Someone please help me! I just want my phone working again

I've also tried to run the PATCHED_RUU file which seems to patch the SPL and go all the way to 100% but then it just goes to the audiovox splash screen and doens't load up anything else ;) when I yank the batt out and turn the phone on again - it just goes back to the tri color boot screen showing SPL 2.05.0040

when you boot up the phone by holding the camera button and plugging in the USB cable is it still asking you if you want to flash from the SD card? or is it just going straight to the tri-color screen

try running the ROMUpdateUtility i just attached and see if you can update your SPL this way, then try to flash your phone using the SD card and a DIFFERENT image than the one before

I've tried everything - ended up getting the IMEI unlocker. Serves me right ;)

hah, thats what i had to to fix my phone when i was debuggin some software and read the wrong part of the memory. seems like when all else fails, imei-unlocker fixes it all up. i guess its worth the $35 to not have a paper weight and go through all this hassle everytime you wanna play around with different roms

I have the exact same problem! :D I guess getting the IMEI unlocker is the only way to go?

Right now I can't get past the 2.0 bootloader. I have no OS at all, and can't revert back; exactly like you describe. The IMEI thing includes software to help me get a ROM back on? and buying it is the only way?

Where do you suggest to get it? Thanks!
