Guest randomspam Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 (edited) Hi, I have been experimenting with getting various webmail accounts working like hotmail and googlemail. I now want to remove some of the accounts I've created but can't for the life of me find out how to do it. If I access Messages and try menu/tools/options then I can ammend the different accounts but can't actually delete them. It's doing my head in. Any ideas? Cheers Rs Edited January 18, 2006 by randomspam
Guest daftveggie Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Grab hold of the stylus, and hold it on the account you want to delete, 2 secs and a full circle later you get a delete option.
Guest randomspam Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 10 housepoints to you sir, thank you very much!
Guest jbird Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 (edited) I have the same issue, but where do you view a list of E mail address's to where you can point the stylus? I can go to the account, but can't find anything to address the stylus to. Thanks for your help. J bird. Never Mind. Found it in the menu as you said..... Thanks. Edited March 8, 2006 by jbird

I go to Start, Messages, click on any of the accounts and it brings me to that account... No option for deleting.. I try holding the stylus on it and it just instantly brings me to the email account itself.. I have a Cingular 8525 running 5.0. Please help! Kevin

From the screen with a list of messages for an account, click the Menu button, and pick Tools | Options. Then if you click on an email account in that list, you can delete it. If you have used MSN messenger, then Hotmail is added as an email account, that you can't delete like this. I don't know if its possible some other way. Edited April 12, 2007 by ahenry
