There is no legal way to upgrade the C500 to WM05 and therefore discussion of this is discouraged on this forum.

what about the rom upgrade how do i do that

Go to the Orange site download the latest rom and run it.

The upgrade will walk you though the update process.

my rom is 4.1.1.4, which is what appears to be on orange website, the reason i am asking is that i cant seem to get my gps working with tomtom

The ROM on the Orange website is actually 4.2.1.4
