Guest MECX Posted February 19, 2006 Report Share Posted February 19, 2006 Bit of a myth really, the control circuitry wont let the battery become 'over-charged', Li-ion batterys like to be kept topped up so if you can get away with it keep your device plugged in whenever possible, I would say 11hours is enough tho, 24hours wouldnt do it any harm. However as mentioned above the batteries are designed to not let this happen, a long initial charge is just to ensure all cells are fully charged to give you the maximum possible performance...
