Guest jasmer Posted February 21, 2006 Report Share Posted February 21, 2006 Hi, I just purchased the M5000 and after initialisation it automatically installs Orange software including a stupid Orange Home screen (Im talking about the SLOW left hand side Orange menu) instead of the standard WM5 Home screen - which I FAR prefer. The dumb thing is, you cannot remove it (you can only change background). I have managed to get the phone to skip the automatic install (by hard reseting and then by soft reseting just before the automatic install) but then it doesn't install all the defaul Orange settings (which are needed to video call, MMS etc. Basically, I just want to remove the Orange Home screen!!!! Guest aallan Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 The dumb thing is, you cannot remove it (you can only change background)... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can turn the Orange home screen off by going to Settings > Today > Items and de-selecting Orange from the list of things to display on the Today screen.
