Guest LcJohnny Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Actually this is not the same thing as BlueTunes. BlueTunes is hack and takes advantage of killing the CDial.exe process which may have undesirable results. It essentially tricks your phone into thinking it is in a call. BlueTunes also does not work with Windows Mobile 5.0 because Microsoft fixed it so people just can't kill CDial.exe anymore. BlueCast works by turning on the Audio Gateway to the phone using some low level APIs. The Audio Gateway control is intended to be used this way. Anyone experiencing my pain would understand why BlueCast was developed SimpleSmartphone.com Download BlueCast Here Hi there... does BluCast works or not with the mpx220 ??? thanks
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Just saw this thread.... I use BlueCast as well. Great app. Works like a champ. I think I found this when the free app didnt work on WM5...or thought it didnt, I forget. Anyway...I agree that this is less of a hack by stopping the cdial process and more of a true BT audio application. CF 2.0 installed on my storage card. (and I can still send/receive mms)
