I have an 8125 as well and I'm running into the same problem you are as well. As a matter of fact, a number of these programs are either starting up and has a weird screen before the app closes or the screen will grow black and freeze. All these programs are written for the smart phone. Does this mean that it won't work on a WM5 PPC? Perhaps I'm installing them incorrectly. There doesn't seem to be an installation process, so I'm dumping the program into my storage card and running them there. I thought the storage card was the issue, but I wasn't able to get it running installed on the device. PocketNester 0.7 is working fairly well right now. Is there a way to get these programs on this forum working on an 8125? Thanks.

Someone please help. Trying to install the pocketnes on my BlackJack. I have the tgetfile, the pocketnes, and the unlock app. But I have no idea what to do with any of them. What directories on my phone do I put them in? Step by step would be great for any of you genius people out there.

im having a problem with the moto q for sprint. i installed pocketnesterplus, and the tgetfile.dll, but for some reason, the controls are off. for example, if i set up to the up button on the directional pad, when playing pacman, he goes right. the right key is set to right, and he goes down. and so on and so on. any reason why this is happening? thanx

Works great only my BlackJack, but there is one annoyance: if you click the action button (center of the directional pad), it pauses the game. This is way too easy to do accidentally.

Is there a way to disable that button?

Duh - this was easy to resolve. I had mapped the START button to my ENTER key. This is apparently the same key code on the BlackJack. Changing it to another key fixed the problem.

Cingular 8125

I have successfully ran and installed pocketnesterplus on my cingular 8125. Here is what I did.

1) Put all files, roms, togetfile.dll, and pocketnesterplus.exe on miniSD card

2) run pocketnester .... you will have to click through errors

3) go to options -> display -> landscape

4) program buttons in options -> controlers

5) open rom

this solves the crashing issue that everyone has talked about

my issues

1) I can not use the scroll menus. When I do landscape and try to program a letter key I can only see a few of the button options and the others are off the bottom, presumable you would have to scroll to them ..... except the scroll does not work

2) can I save button configurations?

3) can I save other default settings?

4) when I program buttons its seem to reverse them in gameplay .... up = left and left = down ??? anyone else have this issue?

any help is appreciated

I'm having problems installing on BlackJack...

The file won't install from my pc.. it says its not a valid Win32 application, so I copied it to my sd card. I cannot run the exe from the sd card, in fact, it doesn't even show up from the phone ... but i know the file is there because when I browse to it (on the phone) from my pc its there, but the phone seems to ignore it. I can get to the file using the phone by using the search option, but the open key is greyed out. any help?

you cant adjust the volume while you in the game. you will need to pause the game first and try. if that doesnt work then pause the game, click a softkey so a menu comes up, and then try to adjust the volume.

I have a blackjack i607 and read though all 6 pages of this forum. I still cant get the games to work. I tried to change it to protrit view and i placed all the files on my phone instead of the memory card. I have about 6 roms and none of them work. What happens is that the rom tries to load then just kicks back to the file explorer. Now I think i need to edit the regisrty which i have that program but the program does not show up in the regisrty for me to edit. I tried to find it while the program was open. I have opened and closed it. I have power cycled my phone and still dont see it. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have tgetfile.dll? If not, then it would kick you right out of the program when trying to load a game.

ok ok i found my mistake im a bumba$$ its a suppernes i thought it was nes ok ok now that your all dieing of laughter i would like to know where i could get a nes emulator for my blackjack i607.... also on a side note anyone with a blackjack or anyone who knows. How can i fix the screen. i tried changing the view in options but it does not seem to work and i can't do landscape thank you guys.

Are my missing something? Could Windows Mobile 6 have anything to do with it. I have a Tmobile Dash. Someone please help...I got like a thousand roms loaded but doesn't help if I can use the controls....

If "up is left and left is down" it's because the emu thinks the screen is rotated to the right.... You're not supposed to take the screen in this sense.

Try mapping the keys like that:

UP/LEFT

RIGHT/UP

DOWN/RIGHT

LEFT/DOWN
