Hello

I was wondering how to extend the length of time the phone rings before it diverts to answerphone?

I looked in the manual and searched, but no luck.

Thanks in advance

That's a network-based setting, not a setting on the handset itself

On orange you dial **61*07973100123**30# and then press the green button

If you want to divert to a different number (a different answering service for example) you simply replace the 07973100123 in that sequence with the number you want to divert to.

Thats great thanks - I dialed it and it said "suceeded"

I recognise the answerphone number in the code. Does the 30 or the 61 indicate the number of seconds before it returns to answerphone?

Thanks

Hehe Clever with the numbers, but..

Go to Start/Settings, under the "Personal" tab press "phone",

Go to the "Services" tab and select "call forwarding" and press "Get settings"

Here you will have a screen with options such as how long to ring before being diverted (or switching this off completly) or who to divert to if you press the Busy button when someone is phoning you etc.

Doesn't work... the network always resets all the options and defaults to 20 seconds.
