Guest simon3030 Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 Sorry guys, I know that this has been discussed previously, but I've only just had my C500, and the keylight thing is driving me nuts, particularly in the car (it's a company issued phone). Is there any way that the keylights can be made to stay on permanently, particularly in the 'Car' setting? During the day, it's bad enough, but in the dark, it's useless - especially when you have sausage fingers, and need glasses to read!! Am I right in thinking that even with the light sensor set to 'off', the keylights will always go off after 5 seconds? My old Nokia 6310 was intelligent enough to realise that when plugged into the car cradle, it was charging, and so the keylights and screen backlight stayed on all the time. Is this progress? I've seen some posts saying that the keylight thing was a fault, and that the phone was swapped - is this the case? Sorry to ramble!

Guest niacin65 Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 I believe it's a hardware issue and there is no workaround.
