HI people pls help me i have a problem with my XDA Cosmo! ;)

i know that cosmo(excalbur) is a modified tornado platform and the only difference is in the screen and the tape of the memory , it does not use a DiskOnChip for internal flash, like most other htc devices. but a SamsungOneNAND flashchip.

it is possible to keep mount StorageCard folder in ReadOnly mode when the WM5Storage is activate ?

i use this soft to link my USB audio car system (peekton PKM950) with my Qtek 9100 and i can't use my bluetooth gps when listening music from my Qtek (maps file are on storage card).

it worked on my old device but now I have a HTC TYTN... and it doesn't work :D

Works perfectly on my Vario II (Hermes). Fantastic application - no need to install Activestink anytime I need to access the storage from a pc that doesn't have it. ;)

Since it has the infamous Samsung processor, you can try tweaks outlined above in this thread for TyTN or similar samsung-based devices.

A bug I meet with the software under version 1.73 (I didn't test for other versions) is when copy a batch of files with various size (such as above 10 files with size from 30 Kb to 20 Mb or larger) from PC to the WM5torage USB storage (1 Gb miniSD card), the files sometimes cannot be copied successfully. The PC windows report that the cache writing faults and the system received a I/O error. It seems that sometimes the USB storage has slow response on the writing to the miniSD card form the disk cache. Hope Ingvarr can fix this bug in the next version.

Please read the thread. It was already explained a dozen of times - its not WM5torage fault, its driver-dependent.

There is no other free solution as I know it. Only Softick CardExport, but its not free (and it does not work on every device either).

Thanks for Ingvarr's reply. The bug also exists when use the windows defragment under WM5torage and it makes the defragment aborted and file lost.

People who getting error 57 most likely havent fully unlocked their smartphones. I know that some unlock "recipies" around dont unlock all APIs, so some software will work, some (more deep system-level) wouldn't. Try this one

That would set security model to "one-tier" - unsigned applications/components will still ask for confirmation, but after you confirm, they will launch in full-trust access mode, like on WM5 PocketPCs.

I need some clarifacation here, do I create a string value with the data being "dword = 1", or do I create a DWORD value with the data "1"?

I have the same problem with my T-Mobile Dash. It works great but everytime I stop using it my cellphone hung up and even have to remove the battery to reboot it. 2 other people that I know with T-Mobile Dash (excalibur) have the same problem.

GREAT Work! Thank you very much, I used version 1.73 to recover the MicroDrive on my Dopod U1000 (HTC Athena), this was the only way I could read it, so I formatted the drive using Windows Vista, performed a Soft Reset and everything was working fine again!

HELP! I can no longer access my card on moto Q through the phone. Even though I deactivated your program, uninstalled it, and reboot phone, it won't let me access it on phone.

If I remove card from phone while turned off and put card in my usb reader for my computer, card works fine.

How do I get normal usage of my card again?

Its possible since version 1.6b

I've actually booted DOS recovery disk and Puppy Linux from my phone card exported via WM5torage. Of course the PC in question should properly support the botting from USB disks.

He's pretty much stated in the past that he's not going to fix it.

Oh well, maybe someone else will make a version of it that will work on the Dash correctly. I haven't tried it under WM6 yet.
