is there anyway to change how long the phone vibrates for when receving an sms? as of right now,it last about 5 seconds. i only want it to last for about 2

yes you need to do a reg edit

HKCU\control panel\sound categories\notification

where it says "Script" you need to make changes there.

v0p makes it "p"lay and "v"ibrate

v5p makes it "v"ibrate for 5 seconds then "p"lay

v2p makes it "v"ibrate for 2 seconds then "p"lay

v2w2pr makes it "v"ibrate 2 seconds "w"ait 2 seconds play then" r"epeat.

play around until you have it how you want it.

ok to make it vibrate for just 2 seconds try v2

to vibrate play then vibrate try v2pw1v.

these are not gaurenteed to work like i said play around i had till i found what i wanted and so I could make the task of getting what you want easier so dont come screming if it doesn't work,

make a note of the original scrpt so you can put it back if it doesn't work.
