Ringtone

Hi there, Wondering if anyone of you guys can help me on that one. I am trying to set my own ringtone and sound for individual application. Which I have managed to do just by dumping sound file into my windows folder, however because these files are not part of the ROM everytime I switch my phone, they are systematically deleted, I have tried to reset their properties but the option is greyed also I wanted to know how I can set personalised sound file as ringtone so that they don't get deleted every time I switch the unit off. Help

I'm assuming you posted this in the wrong section as you state that your device is a C500.

If that is the case then put the files into \Storage \Application Data \Sounds.
