I am trying to set my own ringtone and sound for individual application. Which I have managed to do just by dumping sound file into my windows folder, however because these files are not part of the ROM everytime I switch my phone, they are systematically deleted, I have tried to reset their properties but the option is greyed also I wanted to know how I can set personalised sound file as ringtone so that they don't get deleted every time I switch the unit off. Guest Disco Stu Posted April 23, 2006 Report Share Posted April 23, 2006 I'm assuming you posted this in the wrong section as you state that your device is a C500.
