I've set up an exchange server account with mail2web to enable push email.

Whenever I turn on push email by going to activesync and pressing sync, it tries to connect to the 3G/GPRS network even though wi-fi is turned on and connected to my wireless network.

Orange pay as you go data prices are just a joke. At the start of my contract they gave me 1000MB a month for 3 months, now they tell me it's

I have an update for you:

Push Email client from Microsoft will not work over WiFi, it is meant to generate business for mobile providers

I wondered why it kept saying "attention required"

Looks like were being screwed again!!!!

I no longer have push email, I changed the schedule to poll for emails every 5 minutes through wi-fi.

Apparantly to have push email enabled, your phone sends a "heartbeat" to the server to let it know it can receive any pushed emails. This heartbeat will generate up to 12MB bandwidth a month. On Orange this would cost you around
