Version 1.12 main changes are: - added the timers window (here you can specify the interval in minutes between client to server GPRS communication and the interval in seconds between refreshing the current cell id and looking for it through the local database) - greatly optimized the local database search system to conserve battery power - now the user can be notified when the client to server GPRS communication fails (Settings - alerts) - fixed an issue that caused MTS to crash when saving information from the Settings - Hardware window Grab the latest MTS version from here - http://www.fightersoft.ro/mts/download.htm We would also like to bring to your attention that we have started working on a MTS counterpart that runs on desktop computers. We decided to integrate this piece of software into an already existing project - Star Remote Mail. Until now, Star Remote Mail was basically an e-mail notification application with some features that put it in the e-mail clients category of applications. Starting with version 1.15, Star Remote Mail has some specially designed features for the MTS users: - every incoming e-mail message can be automatically "forwarded" to your MTS Client - you can send quick messages to MTS users directly from this application - you can track a MTS user and display his or hers location as a tooltip hint in the Star Remote Mail system tray icon (see attachement) Give Star Remote Mail a try - http://www.fightersoft.ro/starmail/index.htm We are also working on another application for Windows Mobile users (smartphone and pocket pc alike) - an audio/video streaming server - Star Media Center. Nope, can't see it in the list, my operator is : Australia - Telstra plus there is also Australia - Vodafone Australia - Optus and maybe a couple others but they are the major three. Matt. I have decertified my phone (now i found all the registry hacks etc.).. i have the qtek 8310 (same phone i believe) but it just doesnt work :) ive tried all the different preset phone types, ive tried all the com ports (always says it cant open it) The only thing i can think of is im using rom version 2.0.9.0 Anyone? Now you can browse, view, reply and find users that sent you messages - now you can enable GPS Sound Speed feature - Options - GPS Functions - GPS Speed Sound and MTS will speak to you your current speed. For this feature to work you need Star Time installed - http://www.fightersoft.ro/startime/index.htm - fixed some minor interface bugs - fixed an issue that caused MTS to crash when enabling work offline mode on some devices http://www.fightersoft.ro/mts/download.htm Finally it's here - the MTS messaging module. Until now, the messages received were viewed in an Internet Explorer window. Now everything has changed: you can browse through your messages, reply to them without manually writing down the address and find the user that sent you the message - all from this messaging module. Another cool feature is the new GPS Speed Sound feature. This will enable MTS to actually speak to you your current speed in KPH. It is very useful when you are on a bike or when unable to watch the speed display on your car. Tried all the com ports, i get, "The specified port is not opened" on all the ports. And when I try other phone models I get the Native Exception. I have deleted the registry value and reinstalled the program countless times, still get the same problems. Second select your network operator from Your ID. If your network operator is not present, then send me the two letter country code and operator name - example US Cingular, UK Vodafone etc. When you will get a cell without a name you will be able to add it to the online database (now that you have an username). To be able to use MTS online you will have to change the IP address from Options - Settings - Your ID - Server Address to 82.76.212.178. However, it is possible that this IP address will be changed again, so please check http://www.fightersoft.ro/mts/services.html for the current IP address. This MTS server will run with the file upload, user signature and e-mail receive features disabled. The situation will return to normal in about one week. Go to Options - Tools - Watch TV and CHECK IT OUT! - when you are in an area with the same description as the town name, then only the town name will appear - example HR, Lacu Rosu instead of HR, Lacur Rosu, Lacu Rosu - fixed some issues that caused the MTS client to accept non standard ASCII characters that are not supported by the MTS server - optimized the MTS protocol *note: this feature does not work using the apn wap. I have my SP5 running MTS. I followed the unlock instructions for C500 on the MTS web site, and it worked. I created a CAB file with those registry settings, so I can run one CAB when I hard-reset my phone. Try this cab and see if that does the trick for your phone too! I would also like to notify you (although this is very late now) that I used your username with the find feature of MTS in a MTS presentation that happened to be televised. I am sorry that I didn't asked your permission first, however I needed to give an example of how MTS runs ok no matter in what country the user is and I thought of you because of your extraordinary activity on US Cingular.
