Guest TheStealth Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I have just bought a Qtek 9100 PDA running Windows Mobile 5... I can surf the internet ok through my home WiFi link.. However I am having problems trying to logon to my orange email web account.... Each time I put in my mobile number and password and press continue on my PDA the page just refreshes back to say input mobile and password! https://services.orange.co.uk/sam/templates/web/sign_in.htm I have tried this on my laptop via the WiFi link and it connects ok... Is there anything I can do to sort this is is this a common PDA issue? Steve

I was unable to access my account from my PC for about 6 months and even contacted customer support it was frustrating me so much. They simply claimed the web department were aware of the issue and were working to resolve it!!! For 6 month?!?!? I don't think so somehow... P.S. Never had a problem signing into my new T-Mobile account :) :)
Guest TheStealth Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 I know there have been some issues with Orange upgrading their web accounts but I can logon ok from a laptop but not with my Qtek 9100 PDA... Anyone else any ideas?

Steve for my orange email account getting mail from my v1640, i entered it as a pop 3 account under messages. pop.orange.net smtp.orange.net your username and password Authenticastion set as the same as incoming server. it actually works better now that I have left orange for vfone. however, i am finding vfone's 3g coverage appaling. they told me it was 90% of the UK. I think the 10% is following me around when i am driving and then resides over my house :)
