Help needed to instal sp3 rom on c500

Hi! I have an i-mate sp3, and while back i upgraded to spv c500 rom because of some bugs. Now i-mate has released a new rom for sp3 with fixed bugs so i want to upgrade to sp3 again. Here is my prblem: when i push UPDATE on my computer, the screen on my phone gets in 3 colours, the progress bar on my PC shows 0%, and after about 30 seconds it gives me an error, that it can`t upgrade! Why is that? I know it has got to do something with the nk.nbf, but i can`t remeber what and i can`t seem to find the older post where i read about it! Please help me sort this out! thanks!

please anyone help!!! Come on guys you all talk about upgrading roms and stuff, and there is no one to know the answer to my problem?! the error is "UPGRADE ONLY" and it says the nbf file...... get a newer nbf!

Is the CID of your phone set to the Super-CID using the SPV Services tool?

If not, this may cause problems with the rom identifying whether it can be flashed to your phone.

To put the rom onto your phone you may need to use the method where you copy the image to your phone using the rom tools (search for the thread) and then press the camera button whilst pressing the power button to put the C500 into bootloader mode.

One thing we don't say in the Help and Advice section is to do a search :)

This thread may help you out, it's based on the Qtek rom but the method should still be the same.
