C500 wont charge

Hi, sorry for the new thread. I have seen a few similar threads but none actually provide a solution.

I forgot to charge my phone last night and now I cant get the PC USB cable to charge the phone. The orange light doesnt come on at all. I dont have my AC charger anymore so I only use the PC to charge.

I read that if you let these batteries run too low then they wont accept a charge again but as I mentioned I havent actually see a way to get round this.

Is there 'trick' i can do to get the phone to take a charge again? Appreciate any advice as I'm bit lost without my phone :)
