Sending MMS from Vario

I was in a minor state of emergency earlier - where I had to send an MMS to a mate :)

This was my first time writing a MMS on the Vario (I had previously done so on the MDA Compact) so I was doing the usual....then it came down to entering the contacts...

Unlike sending a txt message, the number of person does not come up as you type in the name. In fact, nothing comes up - and in the end, I had to copy the name onto a sheet of paper and then manually type it down into the Vario(!)

Am I missing something here?

I'm sure I didnt have to do that, I cannot remember as my vario has gone for repair.

I am sure I did send an mms once and I did the normal (insert contact) and chose from a list of contacts.

Simply tap the 'To:' beside where you enter the number and your contacts will appear :)....

aah....yes it does! Thanks mate ;)

It's not very clear though and ideally, I would have wanted a solution where everything can be done on the keyboard without pressing on the screen. I remember the MMS composing program on the MDA compact was a lot easier to use. They seem to take a step backwards with this one imo :)

Cheers for that. I've been trying to work out how to add a contact and have been writing down numbers on bits of paper too!
