SMS Problem on Orange SPV M600

Hi guys I have a problem with sms messaging in that I cannot send or recieve them. Whenever I try and send one it goes straight in to the outbox folder.

I went away on holiday and did not want to take my M600 so swapped the SIM into an old Nokia (which worked fine) but having sitched back to my M600 I am encountering problems.

Tried a few searches, both here and at XDA-Dev but no joy

Has any ever had this problem ?
