Guest Pondrew
First thing we need to know is what processor it has (at work so can't really double check now...). Is it a Samsung?

Guest Pondrew
Well, I believe that's the same chip used in the HTC Alpine (XDAIIi) and I've never heard of owners of that having any problem overclocking. If you hadn't already tried it I'd say it was XCPU Scaler you needed but maybe the XDA Atom is partially application locked so it won't run as is... EDIT: Sorry to say the XDA Atom is not listed as compatible on the XCPU Scaler homepage here even though the XDA IIi and the particular processor is. There must be an Atom specific compatibility issue. :)
