Guest Pigo Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 I was wondering just now. my wizard is hooked up to my car through a 2,5 mm jack. but will a bluetooth headset work with it stil in the phone and if so will it work right? would really appriciate if someone would try it. Pigo
Guest fUNKUS Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 I have tried this on my htc charmer and it looks like the 2.5 mill jack seems to overide the bluetooth audio. So the jack has to be removed otherwise bluetooth audio won't work. I'm interested in finding a common solution any ideas?
Guest Pigo Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 depends on what your goal is. mine is handsfree calling in the car. I've allready chopped up my old (broken) C500 headset and ready to solder it to a mic or mic jack & a 3,5mm jack or two tulip jacks. have a couple of options but not shure what to do yet. is your goal the same? if so maybe you can buy a cheap nokia headset (with 4 sections on the jack) and chop that up. those headsets can be bought all over the place (if you keep your eyes open) for like 5 euro's. but you might need to find out how the sections are devided. but that's just some test work.
