Guest noahv Posted August 7, 2006 Report Share Posted August 7, 2006 I have an SMT5600 and the OEM wired stereo headset (SHS5600). The phone recognizes the headset (switches to headset mode) and I can use headset to listen to music or conversations, but the microphone does not transmit my voice during calls to the phone (e.g. other party can not hear me, but I can hear them). Tried a replacement headset - same problem. Tried headset in another phone - works fine. If I blow into the mic during a call, I can hear it in my headset, but nothing is going through to the phone. I'm thinking that it might be an issue with the jack, but the behaviour is quite odd. Any ideas/suggestions on how to troubleshoot more / fix this? Many thanks!
