Guest goochy1 Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 So I can chose a team fror Wednesday and then chose a team for Saturday? As far as i'm aware W4lly you can. Guest awarner (MVP) Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 I prefer the Sun's version where you can only transfer mid season so it's more realistic. Especially for me as I don't follow footy at all. Guess will win needs to change it's name to guess will lose then :D
Guest jimbouk Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 As I can't be bothered to change the team every two days to take advantage of the midweek games (and probably won't even change them weekly), I will enjoy my moment of glory at the top of the leaderboard... (Did I mention that I was currently top?)
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 Well thats my team sorted for Weds. Hopefully i'll rack up a nice set of points to make up for missing Saturday. That said i'll prolly end up in the heavy negatives ;p
Guest adchaffey Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 If i started a league on the official premier league fantasy football would anyone join it? I'm really only asking people who already have a team on there, as it's quite a low scoring system so hard to make up for not taking part in the first week. Anyway, if anyones interested I'll create one. :D
Guest goochy1 Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 (edited) Especially for me as I don't follow footy at all. Don't worry about after 3/4 weeks we'll probably stop being bothered with changing them all the time. We'll just check then gloat - lol And get on with it - but definately change at crimbo as that the official transfer opening ( i think ) goochy1 Edited August 21, 2006 by goochy1

Guest w411y Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 I think keeping track of this one will do me
Guest adchaffey Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 You mean fantasy.premierleague ? Go for it :D Yep, http://fantasy.premierleague.com. The league code is: 178544-110566 Simply go to 'Leagues' enter the above code in the 'Join a Private League' box and hit 'Join League'. Please note, applications will only be accepted from people that know less than me about football. I.E. nobody. :D :D
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Please note, applications will only be accepted from people that know less than me about football. I.E. nobody. :D :D That would appear to be me then on current form :D
Guest jimbouk Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 so says the chap currently in second place... I think the humiliation of coming last in the Modaco league by the end of the season will be enough for this FF virgin.
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 How about we add a prize. I have a bunch of bits to give away (laptop bag, books, maybe a wifi mouse or two). Top person each month gets a prize!
Guest jimbouk Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 how about top person first saturday gets a prize? Good idea though...I think I suggested Paul put up some spare devices...
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Well random devices are hard to come by (unless you're Paul...;p) Maybe something for the winner at the end of the season? First Saturday of each month sounds good though!
Guest jimbouk Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Did I mention I came top on Saturday? Tee hee.

Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 Er firstly, i, unlike Paul, am no-where near middle age, ty very much. :D Secondly, its just a laptop bag, you have to provide the laptop to carry in it yourself!
