Guest finisterre Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 I've never had a T-Mobile phone before. Thanks.
Guest Pondrew Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 Well, the MDA Compact II (HTC Charmer) isn't particularly locked down although it does prompt you if you want to procede on trying to install a program if it isn't signed with a trusted certificate... Traditionally T-Mobile don't seem as concerned about rogue apps as Orange.
Guest The Doctor Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 (edited) I've never had a T-Mobile phone before. Thanks. Most likely....... all operators/vendors phones come app locked due to the OS. Effort by microsoft to control the running of unauthorised apps but in the end its up to the operator/vendor..... but as pondrew says tmob doesnt seem too bothered but MS have apparently locked down the AKU2.3 build of WM5 very tightly....
