Cannot access orange.net pop mail over 3g

Bizarre!

Set up my orange email account on my 3100, using WM5 new messaging account auto-setup. Tried to connect but it timed out. Then tested it via activesync pass through and it worked - then tried it via WIFI and it worked - then double checked via 3g and it didnt work!

Anyone come across this?

FIXED IT! In connections, manage existing connections, the device was set to AUTO (and defaulted to Orange GPRS WAP connection. Switched it to Orange Internet and hey presto it works.
