Guest welshgaz Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 (edited) Hi folks I'm having problems getting AS to connect with my Wizard. I'm using As 4.2 and the newest TMob Rom. I have managed to get it to connect many times before, but always get a temptemental error. When I plug the device in, AS on the PC just won't respond. The PC will, and will issue it with an IP address but it won't sync. I've tried removing the profiles from both the PC and Device ends to no avail. I've run the troubleshooter and get the following message: Unable to establish a connection between the PC and the device. Get up-to-date solutions to common connection problems. Guest cuchulain Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 For What its worth .... I have exactly the same problem with a C550 and C600 , using AS4. My first solution was the easy but pain in the neck one ... 1 : plug in phone and then restart pc , pc catches phone on startup, never failed for me ... Then I moved for the more permanent solution and discovered that it worked all the time if i removed Mcafee , this worked for me , and I switched to panda, for the antivirus , and everything is working tickedy boo .... Hope this helps .... Neil :) < When I plug the device in, AS on the PC just won't respond. The PC will, and will issue it with an IP address but it won't sync.
